Thai Pongal 2011

Thanks to all the members for attending our Annual General Meeting. Our sincere appreciation goes to all the dignitaries, guests and members for celebrating and making Thai Pongal 2011 very successful. Over 160 people enjoyed the festive dishes and performances. Special thanks to Town of Ajax, Durham Region Rogers TV, Snap, News Advertiser, TVI and CMR and Malathi Thayaparan (Coordinator of Thai Pongal 2011).

Congratulations to Danusha Vinoraj and Sigogini Sivarajah, Chief Editors of “The TCASD Times” We are all proud to say that this is the very first news letter for all Tamils in Durham region. The first issue of the News letter was received by Hon. Mark Holland, Cindy Holland and Councillor Rodrigues at the Thai Pongal Celebration 2011. Copies of this issue can be found in the local libraries and stores.
